50 YEARS OF GLASTONBURY BY THE

PEOPLE THAT PLAYED

THERE is a buzz, like thousands of bees, all seeking the pollen from the structure before them.
They are surrounded by noise, noise with a repetitive, thumping beat they can feel reverberating through their bodies, directly through their hearts.
The all-encompassing buzz is punctuated by occasional outbursts – laughter, shouting, someone fell – they pass by in a blur.
And then the pounding stops.
For what seems like an eternity, there is silence.
The bees have stopped moving and instead, stand fixated on their feeding point, bathed in darkness.
The stage.
And then it begins…
